Landing Page Quick Reference Guide
A landing page is a website page that is created for one purpose – to persuade the site visitor to convert into a customer by making a sale, completing a form (thereby becoming a qualified lead), signing up for a newsletter, etc.
We provide this landing page quick reference so you can pull it out every time you are creating a persuasive landing page. It is divided into 4 sections and is intended to be an all-inclusive tip sheet.
Most importantly, consider that you have 8 seconds or less to convince your visitor to act. If you haven’t convincingly made your case in this time then your visitor will move on and will be lost, as the Internet has created the most fickle customer in salës history.

Google Click Fraud Settlement Payments Received
I reported this morning that Google Advertisers Receiving Settlement Payouts for the refunds they were rewarded based on the Google Click Fraud Settlement. The amounts of those payments are making many advertisers feel like they were ripped off. For example, one advertiser informed us that they paid Google over $480,000 over the past three years and only received a credit of $280. You can check to see if you received a credit by viewing your “Billing Summary” under each campaign in your Google AdWords account.

Speaker Proposal Guidelines for SES Latino 2006
Thanks for your interest in speaking. This page provides background on how to make a speaking pitch to Nacho Hernandez, the conference chair of the SES Latino 2006 event. I am responsible for creating the program and selecting speakers for that show.
TO PITCH SPEAKING FOR OTHER SES SHOWS, SEE GUIDELINES POSTED ON THE WEB SITES OF THOSE OTHER SHOWS.
SES Latino ’06 is a new event for Incisive Media and we’re very excited about it because U.S. Hispanics and Latin America rank among the top worldwide Internet users and they are the fastest growing region in the world. Although the vast majority of Internet users can be found in the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina, there are over 25 active countries on the Internet you may target.
As organizer of this event, I seek for those speakers that can bring an innovative approach to help others learn the right tactics for these markets on “success story” case studies and best practices. Presentations must have fresh information and speakers must demonstrate to be industry leaders in the U.S. and/or in Latin America for the field of Search Engine Marketing and/or Search Engine Optimization. I will not accept any pitches for other Internet interactive areas, which are not covered on SES events.
If after reading this, you feel to be eligable, please continue reading with the link below.

The Death of Google Adsense And Other Myths
Recent changes in the Google Adsense program has many online website owners and marketers seriously concerned. Many have seen their Adsense profÃts and income flatline… seen their four or five figure monthly Adsense income disappear overnight. For many the Google Adsense bubble has burst.
What happened?
First, Google made a change in its Adsense program, letting advertisers choose between putting their ads in the search results or on the content pages of Adsense publishers. Search won out and started to receive the higher bids. Search results convert better than content ads.
